Evans and stating “His Excellency [i.e. the Governor General Sir Stewart Symes] has sent me some copies of what I thought was his very excellent monograph at the end of the 1938 annual report [see above]. I thought you might like to have a private copy to which to refer at any time, and when the war is over, to show the visitor who is intelligent and wants a summary.” en
